About Us

The history of baseball is littered with colourful characters with equally colourful nicknames.

The Sydney Deadstars is a touring baseball (and occasionally softball) club that aims to keep alive some of those nicknames.

Our players proudly wear the nicknames of dead baseball stars on their backs – hence the name, Sydney Deadstars.

We have been competing in tournaments as a club since 1994. Some of the original players from 1994 are still competing.
